Mission Statement

The consultancy center BOXIP (BIO-OPT-XUV Information Platform) was establish in order to share knowledge in the field of interaction between electromagnetic radiation and living matter. Our mission is to advice both scientists in basic research as well as clinicians seeking novel radiation-based diagnostic and teranostic approaches.

The center is a follow-up of the ESF (European Social Fund) project BIO-OPT-XUV (BOX) Research Team Advancement at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, which established the collaboration among the founding members. The activities of BOXIP relate closely to the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of CTU in Prague. Our mission, however, is not limited solely to FBME: the consultants offer their expertise worldwide.

Apart from knowledge transfer, another purpose of BOXIP is to share experimental infrastructure between the members of the center, i.e., both expertise in various experimental techniques and equipment.
